Assessing The Impact Of The Proposed Low Value Goods Tax

Online shopping has been on the upward trend with many of us finding it convenient to purchase what we need online. A bulk of these purchases are actually low-value goods buoyed by impulse buying due to the low price point. The dewan rakyat has recently passed an amendment to the Sales Tax which will allow these low-value goods to be taxed. To get some insights into this new tax and its potential impacts, we speak to Zen Chow from YYC Tax consultants.
