Attention Economy: Power & Pitfalls

The Attention Economy has become a critical aspect for advertisers competing for consumers' limited attention spans in the digital world.

Amidst a mix of high-quality and manipulative content, what can consumers do to ensure that they are not constantly distracted whilst online? And how can advertisers navigate the double-edged sword of the Attention Economy, and foster healthy engagement with digital content while considering its adverse effects on consumers?

To help us navigate this minefield and to help us ensure that our attention is firmly rooted on the conversation, we decided to call in the big guns, or as we like to call him Jan– from Open Minds Resources. He’ll be answering some of our questions a little bit later on in the show.
