The pandemic and its ensuing global lockdown has created an economic mess. Surprisingly, that hasn’t stopped people from actually saving more and clearing their debts during the MCO. Could this be because of the moratorium? Or is it because there’s nothing much to spend on these days? While this isn’t a blanket scenario, many Malaysians seem to be using the MCO period to upgrade their financial standing.
