Elon Musk believes humans can and should become an interplanetary species, and the best time to do so is now. His new spaceship, he thinks, can help achieve that lofty goal. Aptly called Starship, he is hoping that it could reach orbit within 6 months and hope it would one day carry humans to Mars.
