Should There Be A Tourist Quota?

The popular tourist destination of Komodo Island in Indonesia will be closed to residence and tourism as of the beginning of 2020. The shutdown is planned to be a year long and it is hoped that it will help improve the ecological conditions and environment. This follows other popular tourist destinations such as Maya Bay in Thailand and Boracay Island in the Philippines. Should there be a quota system in place for popular tourist places here in Malaysia?
