Amidst controversy regarding its handling of private data, Facebook finally earned itself some virtual pats on the back by cracking down on deepfake content. Although it’s hard to know how exactly the company will detect and delete said content, the company’s stance is actually tackling a problem before it can turn into a full-blown nightmare.
