What VCs Look For in Serial Entrepreneurs

Instagram co-founders Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger have launched a new venture to explore social apps, which includes their debut product Artifact. Techcrunch describes the app as  “a modern-day twist on Google Reader”, but utilising machine learning and AI.

While Instagram was a highly successful startup, building a second successive winning startup is a big task, especially considering the high failure rate of startups. So today on BizBytes, we ask the question, what does it take to be a successful serial entrepreneur?

We also get Kevin’s thoughts on:

  • -Whether serial entrepreneurs are more likely to succeed.

  • -The most promising startup areas in Southeast Asia.

  • -Funding being the key hurdle in the Malaysian startup ecosystem.
