We often associate traditional clothings with festivals, weddings and celebrations, mostly major events. However, Sumitra Selvaraj thinks otherwise and as we thought it was a tradition, now it isn't. She has been challenging the social perception of draping sarees everyday for the past 15 years. Today in the studio, we have founder of Sarees and Stories, Sumitra Selvaraj to talk about her perception of culture, heritage, identity and how did the saree movement shaped her life.
