Enter the Tech Dome

The ‘Tech Dome’ is a science and technology center with a unique take; it encourages kids to participate in “scientific experiences” to grasp a concept instead of just reading about it or watching it happen in front of them. Housing an arcade of fun activities and even some thrilling rides for the whole family, the Penang-based Dome hopes to inspire a new generation of tech-savvy youngsters. We speak to Dato’ Wong Siew Hai, pioneer of Tech Dome, and Dr Khong Yoon Loong, the man behind the daily operations, on upcoming events, their new giant telescope, and everything else that makes the Dome tick.
