So the youth unemployment rate in Malaysia has breached the 10% mark, more than three times the national unemployment rate and many are quick to point out that this is not down to a lack of jobs in the market. An article in Says.com recently pinned the blame on fresh grads in the country having “attitude problems”, but is it fair to say they all need an adjustment in attitude to be more hireable? Founder & CEO of Wobb, Derek Toh shares his thoughts on the article and how youths and employers out there can up their appeal and desirability in each others’ eyes.
