Ala Carte - Ekkamai

Under the umbrella of The Social Group of Restaurants, Ekkamai celebrates authentic Thai cuisine with a twist of modern flair. The Thai gastrobar was founded by a husband-and-wife team, Ekachai Urairat and Mei-Li Tan, on the basis to showcase a fresh take on Thai food by weaving together both traditional with modern flavours on a plate. Ekkamai is a result of the couple’s years of eating, cooking, travelling and tasting the very best of Thai to make it finally available to the discerning diners of urban KL. Ekkamai currently operates in two outlets; one tucked in the corner of Publika and another along Jalan Batai. Walking us through the journey of Ekkamai is founder, Ekachai Urairat & marketing manager, Chong Pei-Shyen.
