Find A Job Near You - Scoot

The 20-year old pilot, Daniel Joshua turned down the offers to fly in Philippines to startup a job portal called Scoot. This portal caters for part time, entry level, fresh grad and internship jobs.  The business model allows employers to post jobs for free for a limited time, enabling them to focus their efforts on advertising to fuel growth, whilst not needing to assemble a massive sales team to convince employers to list their vacancies. This in turn allows them to operate as a small team, outsourcing as much of the work as possible which is a key principal in driving their business forward.
