Following our 8-episode tax focus during April and May, P&L now shifts to the world of fundraising. In our last show, we explored fundraising for pre-seed and seed stage founders, covering equity, debt, bootstrapping, and early-stage funding agreements. Today, we continue our exploration by focusing on fundraising and financing for Series A to Pre-IPO companies.

Joining us is Kevin Brockland, Managing Partner at Indelible Ventures. Kevin will walk us through the characteristics typically observed at these different stages, the evolution of funding types and investor profiles, and the strategic decisions founders face when choosing between equity and debt. We will also discuss the importance of maintaining a bootstrapping mentality, the role of debt and hybrid instruments like convertible notes and venture debt, and the common pitfalls to avoid as companies progress towards an IPO.
