Leadership is a Losing Game - Part 1: Losing The Ego Game

Often, leadership is thought of as how to be a winner in work and life. However, if you truly understand how the human heart works, you will discover that we are all not naturally wired to be selfless, in fact the default leadership DNA mode is one of selfishness. Unless you learn how to "lose yourself" in the process of serving a higher cause, in the overcoming of your need for self-esteem, your quest to be a leader will still be ego-tainted and relationally-deprived. When a leader is "full of himself", he then becomes "empty of influence". Joseph Tan from Good Monday Consulting shares 3 parts to how leadership is a losing game and in this Raise Your Game segment, he shares about Losing the Ego Game.
