 Virtual and hybrid AGMs helped maintain healthy levels of shareholder participation amidst social distancing measures during the pandemic. However, as we move into endemicity, the question of whether virtual/hybrid AGMs are here to stay depends on a myriad of factors, including tech, transparency and shareholder democratisation. Kasturi Nathan, Head of Board Advisory Services at KPMG breaks down the challenges and solutions to keeping these virtual AGMs in place, moving forward.
