Listed companies comply with Corporate Governance (CG) because this is required by the regulators and expected by their investors.  However, even SMEs can benefit from the basic principles of CG. It helps to protect their business and may make it more valuable if they want to sell it in future. Governance Specialist Dr. Elsa Satkunasingam sheds some light.
