How Green Are Malaysian Companies?

The Prime Minister's Hibiscus Award is the longest running environmental award for business and industry in Malaysia. Turning 20 this year, the award recognises the private sector for excellent practices in sustainability. As the chief assessor, Dr. Loi Kheng Min shares his views and observations from 18 years of involvement as an assessor, comparing entries for 2014/2015 with previous cycles and sheds light on whether Malaysian companies are backsliding or seriously working on making their operations sustainable.
