 According to recent research done by the Center for Creative Leadership on talent sustainability in organisations, the best person to effect any change in the talent system and ensure talent sustainability surprisingly isn’t the human resources department, but business line managers. They are well-positioned to influence the development and movement of talent given their proximity. However, these managers also tend to be the weakest link in the talent system.
