Advancing Cyber Resilience; Principles and Tools for Boards

The World Economic Forum is committed to improving the state of the world and is the International Organization for Public-Private Cooperation. The Forum engages the foremost political, business and other leaders of society to shape global, regional and industry agendas. And on January 2017, the World Economic Forum in collaboration with Hewlett Packard Enterprise and The Boston Consulting Group, published a paper on “Advancing Cyber Resilience – Principles and Tools for Boards” . In this paper they discussed about the evolving role accountability of Boards and CxOs, 10 board principles to help drive cyber resilience into organizations, cyber principle toolkits to foster self-assessment and cyber risk framework to understand an organization’s risk appetite and profile. To understand this all, we speak to Lee Han Ther, Principal CyberSecurity Advisor from Hewlett Packard Enterprise.
