The ecommerce space is buzzing. According to the statistics department of Malaysia, the ecommerce growth rate in Malaysia is expected to grow from 10.6% in 2016 to 20.8% in 2020. Also, we have one of the highest internet penetrations in SEA at more than 85% and mobile penetration at nearly 140%. We have become one of the fastest growing emerging ecommerce emerging markets in the region. And it’s easy to see why, there are plenty of opportunities for anyone to get into the ecommerce space, especially with MDECs focus to help local businesses to go digital. We speak to Vaibhav Dabhade, the founder and CEO of Anchanto about the ecommerce space and how technology is your tool to tackle different market segments in the digital economy.
