The Academy Of eSports

The eSports sector has generated more than 1.5 billon US dollars in revenue in 2017 according to reports by gaming data company SuperData Research. It’s been an explosive year for professional gaming, titles like Overwatch, League of Legends, and Dota gathered viewership figures via streaming platforms in numbers that we’ve never seen before. And this growth is not going to slow down. Over here in Malaysia, we have some great professional gamers but there’s always room to grow and groom more of them. Enter the Academy of eSports, an education institute that offers certification-level education in the form of programmes on gaming techniques as well as soft skills as critical thinking, problem solving, strategic planning, teamwork, conflict management and communication skills.
