Malaysian Emerging Fintech Giant Strengthens Regional Presence

In the first episode of our fintech series with Boost, the regional full spectrum fintech arm of Axiata, we managed to spend some time with Sheyantha Abeykoon, the Group CEO of Boost, where we discussed how they managed to grow to become one of Malaysia’s emerging fintech giant with a regional presence across Southeast Asia.

In the discussion, he shared some insider insights on how Boost has been able to scale its business in a sustainable manner, as well as the learnings along the way. He also offered a glimpse into Boost’s continuous aim to further close the gap in financial inclusion across markets that they are present in, along with a potential market expansion in the works.
