The Rise of the Connected Supertaskers

With 15 billion connected devices today and a projected 40 billion by the year 2020, the level of productivity expected at the workplace is beginning to shift. Employees are not just required to operate in multi-tasking environments, but to become a workforce of ‘supertaskers’, or individuals who are able to complete several tasks at once with little to no error. Coupled with the rise of the Internet of Everything, this has bred a new generation of employees who are connected, mobile and are beginning to collaborate remotely. Albert Chai, Country Manager for Cisco Malaysia talks about the implications involved with the rise of the connected “Supertasker” workforce.
