Dolby Labs was founded by Ray Dolby in the UK in 1965 and ever since the first film with Dolby sound “A Clockwork Orange” in 1971, we have seen vast improvements in audio technology that plays a big part in creating an immersive experience in cinema’s and at home. Malaysia is set to embrace Digital Terrestrial TV or DTTV, Dolby opened up Malaysia’s first every Dolby 5.1 Training Facility to complement Malaysia’s DDTV aspirations. Pankaj Kedia, Senior Regional Director India South East Asia Australia New Zealand for Dolby Laboratories talks about why the need for such training facility in Malaysia.
