Dyson Ltd is a British technology company, founded in 1993 by Sir James Dyson, which designs and manufactures vacuum cleaners, hand dryers, bladeless fans and heaters. It sells machines in over 50 countries and employs more than 3000 people worldwide with a manufacturing plant here in Johor. Jeff Sandhu had the opportunity to speak to Abdul Hakim, design engineer working with Dyson Singapore RDD facility and finds out what it takes to be an engineer at Dyson and what are some the in-house challenges that they do to push the boundaries of engineering.
