Psychometric Tests: Know Your Talents Beyond Resumes

The hiring process in 2025 no longer solely depends on hard skills listed in resumes or the typical Q&A of job interviews. Today, employers seek a deeper, multifaceted understanding of candidates to determine the best intellectual and cultural fits for their companies.

Here’s where psychometric tests come into the picture. Psychometric tests are assessments used to measure candidates’ traits like cognitive ability, emotional intelligence and much more.

But how reliable are these tests, and do they complicate the recruitment process? To address these questions, we’re joined by Sharma Lachu, Founder & CEO, Accendo Technologies and Helen Langhammer, Director, Aspire Consulting Sdn Bhd.
