What the Dickens?

The author of ‘Oliver Twist’, ‘A Tale of Two Cities’ and the ever popular ‘A Christmas Carol’ wrote feeling very much the impact of the Industrial Revolution. The rich and the poor divide was strong. Wrongs were plenty. And many unaddressed. Probably his most famous work is ‘Great Expectations’ which Uma will bring to the reading table.
