Born in Johor Bahru, Zainalabidin Mohamed started showing interest in music as early as the age of 5. He began his musical career singing with the Malaysian rock outfit, Headwind. Zainal's passion for music then led him to a successful solo career, producing hits songs such as Hijau, Manis, Ikhlas Tapi Jauh, and many more.
