The days of discussing mental health issues and suicide only in tight circles and in hushed tones seem to be dissipating, albeit slowly, leaving us to be more open in addressing the silent killer society largely ignores. Advocating the prevalence and normality of mental health issues is clinical psychologist Dr. Chua Sook Ning, and her efforts, under the #ImNotAshamed campaign, has yielded some results. She speaks to us about the harsh realities of suicides and how much it unknowingly consumes some of us.
