Inheritance Tax - Yay or Nay?

Over the past few weeks, there have been talks about the inclusion of the inheritance tax in Budget 2018. The Consumers Association of Penang (CAP) has argued in favour of the tax, saying that it could help bridge the gap between the rich and poor. However, Second Finance Minister Datuk Seri Johari Abdul Ghani has dismissed the rumours about the possible reintroduction of the tax. We take a look at the discussions surrounding the inheritance tax, and whether it fits well in Malaysia. Our guest is Dr. Veerinderjeet Singh, Executive Chairman of Axcelasia Inc.
