Selangor Syariah Law On "Unnatural Sex" Ruled Unconstitutional

The Federal Court ruled Section 28 of the Syariah Criminal Offences (Selangor) Enactment 1995 unconstitutional and invalid, on the ground that such offences fall under the jurisdiction of federal law, and not state law. We speak with Lim Wei Jiet to unpack this development.
