Hari Ini Dalam Sejarah Dunia: The Principia

On April 28, 1686, Isaac Newton - physicist, philosopher, theologian, inventor, alchemist, mathematician - would publish the first volume of his Philosophiae Naturalis Principia Mathematica, known to posterity simply as the Principia. He would describe the law of universal gravitation and establish the foundations of classical mechanics. He would literally change the world. This month, on The Evening Edition’s Hari Ini Dalam Sejarah Dunia, Richard and Uma take you back in time to tell you the very exciting, sometimes sordid, even dangerous tale behind the discovery of the fundamental tenets of the universe and how it works.
