The Higher Education Ministry has drafted a new guideline under the Universities and University Colleges Act 1971 (UUCA) to regulate students who are involved in politics on and off campus. First, we look at what this means and whether it gives universities too much power over students and their right to be politically active. Then, with UNDI 18 in play, what does this say about our willingness to have younger voices in politics? We discuss.
