It's been 40 years since Malaysia's Look East Policy (LEP) was implemented by former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir. We look back at how the policy has shaped our bilateral relations, the impact it has had on our economic and social growth, as well as what Looking East means for the next phase of Malaysia's development. Then, we discuss what Malaysia's foreign policies could look like, based on current geopolitics.
