What Would A Living Wage Look Like in Malaysia?

Human Resources Minister V Sivakumar recently told the Dewan Rakyat that the government is studying a Bank Negara Malaysia proposal on the implementation of a living wage in the country. So first, we talk about the math - what goes into determining a living wage, and why is it the more important conversation to have, in comparison to the minimum wage? And then, we discuss how this can be implemented across the country, in a meaningful way.
