The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has reported launching an investigation against Court of Appeal judge Datuk Mohd Nazlan Mohd Ghazali. First, we discuss the allegations against him, and what mechanisms there are to deal with ethics when it comes to our judiciary. Then, we look at the importance of having a judicial system that is independent and trustworthy.
