Working Toward Better Digital Inclusivity For PwDs

The JKM Pay project was announced last year, aimed to distribute payments to welfare recipients via cashless means. However, this project has received some criticisms, with Senator Datuk Ras Adiba urging the government to review its implementation and approach. First, we look at how the system has fared so far, and what needs to be improved. Then, we look at other policies that would be helpful to people with disabilities in the B40 community. Finally, we discuss how digital services can be improved to bridge the gaps to help people with disabilities.
