Would You Take The Money And Run?

Dr Anasuya Jegathevi Jegathesan, Dean of Psychology and Social Sciences, University of Cyberjaya

Would You Take The Money And Run?

A pink-and-white luggage bag filled with over RM500,000 in cash was found by a security guard at a parking lot in Damansara Mall. He handed it in to the police, but that got us thinking: Would we do the same? If you found a bag with half a million ringgit in it, would you take it for yourself, or hand it in? We opened it up to listeners, and unsurprisingly got very interesting answers, before our guest, Dr Anasuya Jegathevi Jegathesan joined us to further unpack this ethical and moral quandary.
