Exploring The Indie Rock Scene in Malaysia

Indie rock music in the country has been a vibrant and diverse force for the past three decades, shaping the musical landscape we see today. We see the way this genre continues to evolve and gain recognition in the likes of Hujan, Faye Faire, Lust, and Capt’N Trips And The Kid. Mohd Jayzuan, founder of Projek Rabak and co-organiser of the Konvensyen Ipoh Sound joins us to unpack the genre's cultural impact especially in the country's indie rock capital of Ipoh, Perak, as well as the stories and sounds that define it.
