Based on a true story, Ford v Ferrari leads up to the 1966 Le Mans race, and follows a team of American and British engineers and designers, led by automotive designer Carroll Shelby (Matt Damon) and his British driver, Ken Miles (Christian Bale), determined to build a new Ford racing car capable of defeating Ferrari.
