The Flowing Culture of the Klang River

Once a bustling trade route and now a centerpiece for environmental and cultural revival, the Klang River tells a story of resilience and reinvention. And one event has been working over the years to bring light to the river’s importance as a source for transportation, food, and religious rituals to name a few. We sit down with Tey Tat Sing and Joseph Foo, who are a part of the creative team behind the Klang River Festival, to talk about the cultural significance of the river, and what it means to keep its legacy going for future generations.
