A Pew Research Center survey on free speech in East Asian and South East Asian countries asked whether people should be allowed to publicly speak their opinions, even if they upset other people. Countries like Thailand, South Korea and Vietnam were found to be pretty open about this, whereas Malaysia lands somewhere in the middle. So this got us wondering: Is harmony more important than confrontation? We discuss this with our listeners.
