Malaysia’s unemployment rate may have dipped to 3% in September, but the numbers don’t tell the whole story. For many graduates, breaking into the job market means taking positions far removed from their fields of study, often temporary and paying less than RM2000. As the labour force grows to 17.5 million, the question of career readiness looms large. So we dive into this question with our listeners: What did you study, and is it relevant to your current job?
