Top 5 at 5: AirBorneo, Sarawak's New Airline

Sarawak has made history by becoming the first Malaysian territory to own an airline. Following the acquisition of MASwings from Malaysia Aviation Group, Sarawak Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg announced the establishment of AirBorneo, which will operate as a full-service carrier. We explore Sarawak as a new player to the aviation industry, and what challenges lie ahead for them to achieve their goals, with Brendan Sobie.

Malaysia's GDP growth is on track: This 5.1 percent growth announced by Bank Negara Malaysia is a significant leap from the 3.7 percent of the previous year. We find out more from economist Geoffrey Williams.

Free flu shots for seniors: This initiative is meant to protect high-risk seniors from serious flu-related complications. We hear updates about this initiative from consultant geriatrician Prof Dr Tan Maw Pin, who is also a Professor in Geriatric Medicine at the University of Malaya.

Criticisms over racist corn seller: A video has recently gone viral of a roadside jagung stall displaying a racist sign, saying he would not sell to "orang keling." This racial slur, and the refusal to sell to the Indian community, has angered people. We hear thoughts from Adnan Yunus, programme manager at the NGO Architects of Diversity Malaysia, over this incident and the apology that followed.

Popek Popek Parlimen: In today's discussion, MPs focused on the role of Malaysia as the ASEAN chair to address job scam syndicates. Our Prime Minister also brought to attention the ongoing battle between Petronas and Sarawak's state oil company, Petros.
