Top 5 at 5: Struggles of Humanitarian Aid in Conflict Zones

It's not a secret that more conflict is escalating across the world, especially in the Middle East and Africa, which has impacted the work of humanitarian organisations on the ground . We speak to Akke Boere, the international director of operations from Médecins Sans Frontières about this.

Other stories we covered:

• Does Malaysia need an anti-racism law?: The recent case of the jagung seller putting up a racist sign saying he wouldn't sell corn to the Indian community has sparked backlash and reignited conversation about whether we need a law to counter racial issues. We hear thoughts from Jason Wee, co-founder of Architects of Diversity.

• Gun laws in Malaysia: The suspect of the Setia Alam shooting mall was recently killed in a shootout with the police. Naturally the case has drawn a lot of attentions, especially when it comes to our gun laws. We find out more from Haezreena Begum Abdul Hamid, Criminologist and senior lecturer at the Faculty of Law, at Universiti Malaya.

• Death to capital letters: You might be familiar with this seemingly grammar error that is done intentionally, said to convey a more relaxed and casual tone of conversation when texting. We explore this phenomenon.

• Popek Popek Parlimen: Today's session shed some light on how far along we are in achieveing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Additionally, conversations also focused on AI data centres and e-sports.
