A recent study by the Institute of Strategic and International Studies Malaysia and the World Bank found that three groups of Malaysian workers: Those who are mid-skilled, those who are between 25 and 34-years-old, and women face the highest risk of being replaced by generative AI. With the adoption of generative AI accelerating, we speak to Calvin Cheng, Director of the Economics, Trade and Regional Integration division at ISIS Malaysia about how much we should be concerned about this.
