Budget 2017 - Unrealistic Medium-term Fiscal Targets?

Malaysia's Budget 2017 was tabled last Friday. Today, we speak to a credit ratings agency, to get its view on the government's revenue projections, expenditure allocations, fiscal deficit targets and contingent liabilities. We also explore what goes on beyond these numbers and projections, and ask if the nation's sovereign ratings is at risk in the near to medium term.

This is a report by Wei Lynn Tang.
