More than four months since consumers in Malaysia were burdened with a 6% tax on many items, spending habits have seen some changes. The GST has exerted pressures on many households, while income stagnated. We explore the kinds of adjustments people have had to made to make their ringgit stretch further. We also look at how well qualified individuals manage their debt.
