The YDPA - Can he, Should he, Intervene?

Whether or not the Yang di-Pertuan Agong can influence the government is a question that has occupied observers recently, in the wake of calls for the ruler to intervene in the removal of Prime Minister Dato' Seri Najib Razak. Legal experts have differing opinions on the issue, based on their interpretations of the Federal Constitution.

BFM speaks to two legal practitioners with vastly different views, on the powers of the King.

This is a report by Lyn Mak and Azlyn Balqis.
