The Bursa Malaysia consumer Index has declined by 6.7% on a year to date basis, almost in tandem with performance of the FBMKLCI which is down by 7%. With no themes emerging, is this a case of just the fundamentals of each company and will the 2nd half of 2023 tell a different story?
